COVID-19 POLICIES

For the love of live music and in order to keep our shows as safe as possible for audiences, performers, and venue staff alike, each venue has developed its own policies to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Some of these policies include masking and showing proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID test result. Stay up to date with each venue's COVID-related public health policies here.


SUBTERRANEAN & BEAT KITCHEN

Effective Monday, August 9th. All concerts & events at Subterranean & Beat Kitchen will require PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION (Hard Copy, Physical, or Digital Photo) or A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST.

Final dose of vaccination must be no less than 14 days prior to the event. Negative COVID-19 tests must be performed within 72 hours of the event.

Per CDC guidance, masks WILL BE required indoors for all staff & patrons except while actively eating or drinking. For more information on COVID-19, vaccines, & resources please visit CDC.gov & vaccines.gov. Thank you!

BOTTOM LOUNGE

Anyone entering Bottom Lounge will be required to show PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION or A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST result for entry. Final dose of vaccination must be received no less than 14 days prior to the event. The COVID-19 test must be administered by a professional lab within 72 hours of the event. We will accept a hard copy of your vaccination card or negative test result, a printed photocopy or a digital image on your phone, and must match your Government-issued ID.

Additionally, beginning October 1, we will only be admitting those who show proof of full vaccination. A negative COVID-19 test result will no longer be accepted after this date. For testing sites in and around Chicago, please visit chicago.gov/city/en/sites/covid-19/home/covid-testing.html.

THE CASTLE THEATRE

Effective immediately — now through the end of the month of September, 2021 —The Castle Theatre will require all guests attending any of our Indoor Shows at the venue to show PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION — OR — A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST performed within 72-hours prior to entry. Patrons will be asked to show their valid vaccination card or test result (photocopies or digital copies are permissible) alongside a government-issued ID when they arrive at the door.

Per CDC guidelines we are also asking all guests to consider wearing a mask unless actively drinking, no matter your vaccination status.

X-RAY ARCADE

Beginning September 2, 2021, X-Ray Arcade will require PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION OR A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST result (administered within 72 hours of the event) for all ticketed and indoor events. COVID-19 cases continue to rise and this is being implemented to keep you, our staff, and our performers as safe as possible.

All guests will be asked to present their valid vaccination card or negative test result upon entry (photocopy or digital photos are acceptable). The final dose of vaccination must be no less than 14 days prior to the event. Vaccination cards must also match your government-issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, State ID, etc). Additionally, per CDC guidance, masks are strongly encouraged indoors and will be worn by staff.

All of the above applies to our performers and promoters as well, and our staff is fully vaccinated — we’re all in this together.

If this doesn't work for you and you need a refund on any tickets, let us know. Refunds will be available upon request until 8/31/2021.
